Serhiy Rebrov, the head coach of the Ukrainian national football team, is preparing to leave his post.
İdman.Biz reports this with reference to foreign media.
The 51-year-old specialist's contract with the federation expires this summer, and he is reportedly interested in working at the club level. Clubs from the Persian Gulf countries are interested in Rebrov's services and may offer him an annual salary of 5 million euros.
His possible successor is 75-year-old Myron Markevych, who also worked with the national team in 2010.
For information, note that although the Ukrainian national team advanced to the play-off stage for a ticket to the 2026 World Cup, they lost to the Swedish team 1:3 in the semi-finals.
The World Cup, which will cover June 11 - July 19, will be held in three countries: the USA, Canada, and Mexico. 48 teams will participate in the tournament.
