"Marseille" striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang spoke about his move from "Barcelona" to "Chelsea" in 2019. Sport24.az reports that the Gabonese striker said it was a mistake to move to the rival of his former club "Arsenal":
"My move to Chelsea was a big mistake. I was going through a difficult period in Barcelona at the time. My house was broken into by robbers and the club had to sell a player. They were going to sell either me or Memphis Depay. The only real option was Chelsea. So I said I would move for my family, even if it was Chelsea. I thought to myself that maybe everything would be fine. After all, Olivier Giroud moved from Arsenal to Chelsea without any problems. But the situation was completely different for me."
It should be noted that Aubameyang scored 3 goals and 1 assist in 21 official matches for Chelsea in the 2022/2023 season.
