Muslera returns to the Uruguay national team

Former Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera has returned to the Uruguay national team. Sport24.az reports that the Uruguayan Football Federation has released information about this.

 

The 39-year-old goalkeeper, who currently continues his career at Argentinian club Estudiantes, had finished his national team career in 2024.


Muslera, who debuted for the national team in 2009, has played in 133 matches. The goalkeeper, who participated in 4 World Cups (2010, 2014, 2018, 2022), won the Copa America in 2011.
