Mukhtar Nazarli, a former football player of the "Mingachevir" club playing in the Azerbaijan I League, was not granted an appeal against the decision to ban him for life from football for participating in match-fixing.
"Report" reports that the decision was made at the meeting of the Appeals Arbitration Tribunal.
1. The consideration of the appeal filed by the football player Nazarli Mukhtar Mehman oglu, born on 22.07.2002, playing in the "Mingachevir" club in the I League, should be renewed in accordance with the response letter received from the Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on the appeal of the AFFA Appeals Arbitration Tribunal.
2. The appeal filed by Nazarli Mukhtar Mehman oglu should not be granted.
3. The decision of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee dated January 30, 2025, on imposing a penalty on Nazarli Mukhtar Mehman oglu, born on 22.07.2002, playing in the "Mingachevir" club in the I League, to ban any football-related activity for life for participating in match-fixing, should remain in force.
4. The interested parties should be informed about the possibility of appealing against the decision of the Appeals Arbitration Tribunal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne (Switzerland).
