Mubariz Mansimov, the former owner of "Khazar Lankaran" club which ceased its activity, shared a photo with Oktay Derelioglu, who used to be a football player of the team, on his social media account. Sport24.az reports that the businessman living in Turkey wrote in his post:
"Oktay Derelioglu, a legendary football player, recognized and highly respected not only in Azerbaijan but also in Turkey, and one of the important players of "Khazar Lankaran", was my guest. During our conversation, we talked not only about the current state of football, but also about the successes achieved by Azerbaijani football in recent years. These moments were very valuable to me. Hopefully, one day our "Khazar Lankaran" club will be restored and we will see our valuable football player Oktay Derelioglu behind the wheel of our team as the head coach as well."
