Idman.Biz reports that the score was opened in the 37th minute by Mozambique national team striker Faisal Bangal. In the 42nd minute, Geny Catamo accurately converted a penalty, increasing the difference to two goals. In added time at the end of the first half, in the 45+5th minute, Gabon's striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reduced the gap.
In the second half, Diogo Calila scored Mozambique's third goal in the 52nd minute. Gabon's second goal was scored by Alex Mouketou-Moussounda in the 76th minute.
After two rounds, the Gabon national team has not collected any points in Group F and is in fourth place in the tournament table. The Mozambique team is in third place with three points.
