Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan recalls in his autobiography one of the most stressful periods of his career - working with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, he writes that their relationship deteriorated rapidly and the coach's pressure reached absurd levels.
He describes the moment when, unable to bear it any longer, he told Mourinho: "You have been criticizing me for two years, you are an idiot!" The Portuguese replied "I don't want to see you again."
He was completely ignored in training, but at night Mourinho continued to send the same message: "Go, so I can sign Alexis."

Every night new messages arrived: "Miki, please go."
Mkhitaryan repeated the same answer: "I will only leave if I find a suitable team, otherwise I will wait until summer."
According to him, in January Mourinho became even more insistent: "Miki, please go so I can bring Alexis."
Then Mkhitaryan wrote: "I'm not going to leave to please you. Please stop writing to me. If you want, talk to Mino."
As a result, this conflict became the prologue to the highest-profile exchange of the winter of 2018: Mkhitaryan moved to Arsenal and Manchester United were able to acquire Sanchez.
