"Al-Ittihad" striker Karim Benzema has become the target of "Benfica"'s new head coach Jose Mourinho. Sport24.az reports that the 37-year-old French footballer's contract with the Saudi Arabian club expires next summer.
Mourinho wants to see Karim in his team. A return to Europe may require Benzema to significantly reduce his salary. It is not yet known whether he will agree to these conditions.
In addition, "Al-Ittihad" is already ready to consider offers in the range of 5-7 million euros this winter, which could speed up the transfer.
