One of the most intense and heated Clasicos took place when Pep Guardiola coached Barcelona and Jose Mourinho coached Real. At that time, it seemed that their relationship had reached a turning point.

Gerard Pique even claimed that one of the reasons for Guardiola's departure from the Catalan club was the Portuguese specialist.
