Former Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho stated that the club's current problems are a direct result of the leadership's decisions.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to foreign media.
"In general, what do you expect from Tottenham? They fire coaches who reach the finals, even those who win the European Cup. The club has never had a big club mentality - they just create the image of winners, but in essence they are losers.
You can't expect stability to suddenly appear when coaches are constantly changing. Sacking the coach a few days before one of the most important games in the club's history, and then being surprised by the defeats of those who replace him? At some point, the problem is no longer with the coaches, but with the toxic environment and the questionable decisions of the leadership. Talent means nothing without character. And Tottenham has neither one nor the other," Mourinho said.
Let us recall that about five years ago, the Portuguese specialist was dismissed from Tottenham a few days before the English League Cup final. In that match, the London representative lost to Manchester City 0:1.
Currently, Tottenham is in the lower ranks of the English Premier League standings and is in the relegation zone.
