The most frequently recorded score in the games held up to the XI round of the Azerbaijan Premier League has been determined.
According to Idman.Biz, the score of 1:1 was recorded most often at the end of the XI round.
The number of such matches was eight, which indicates the balance of power between the teams and a cautious style of play in the main moments of the meetings.
In second place is the score of 0:2, which was repeated six times. This result often reflects the advantage of the favorites on the road and their victories over rivals at the bottom of the league table.
The third step is shared by a group of "business" scores - 0:0, 0:1, 1:0, 1:2, 2:0 and 3:0, each recorded five times. These indicators show the abundance of minimal victories, goalless games and matches without much exchange of attacks, which is an indicator of tight defensive play and a decrease in overall productivity in the league.
Against this background, scores recorded only once stand out as rare results: 3:2, 1:3, 4:1, 5:1, 5:0 and 0:5. Five-goal matches and big wins remain as occasional episodes for now, not turning into a general trend.
Overall statistics show that in the new format of the Azerbaijan Premier League with 12 teams, tactical discipline, minimal differences and the special value of each goal come to the fore, rather than serial defeats. With the exception of "Qarabag" and outsiders, a relatively equal struggle is observed in the championship.
