"Monaco" will be fined 425,000 euros due to the lack of a license for head coach Sebastien Pocognoli.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to "L'Équipe".
According to the publication, the "Monaco" coach does not have a certificate confirming his level and suitability for coaching clubs in the French top league. Because of this, "Monaco" is forced to pay 25,000 euros for each Ligue 1 or French Cup match in which the Belgian specialist coaches the team. This amount is currently 425,000 euros, but could increase to 750,000 euros by the end of the season.
Pocognoli began managing the French club in the fall of 2025. Under his leadership, "Monaco" has played 23 matches, winning eight of them. The team is currently in 10th place in the Ligue 1 table with 28 points from 21 rounds.
