Mohamed Salah has been awarded the prize by the Football Writers' Association (FWA) in England.

More than 900 members of the organization participated in the vote, and the Egyptian collected 90% of the votes, which is the highest result in the 21st century.
Salah repeated Thierry Henry's record by winning this award for the third time. He was previously selected as the best in 2018 and 2022.

3. Alexander Isak (Newcastle);
4. Declan Rice (Arsenal).
Alessia Russo, a football player of "Arsenal", was chosen as the best female football player of the year.
