Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has clearly chosen the Argentinian star when comparing himself to Lionel Messi. Sport24.az reports that the Egyptian footballer initially preferred the 38-year-old Inter Miami forward to Diego Maradona, but then preferred Messi, who has won the Ballon d'Or eight times, over himself.
"If they ask me, me or Messi? I'll always choose him," Salah said in a statement to the Spanish media.
It should be noted that Mohamed Salah has scored 3 goals and 3 assists in 7 games this season. He is also one of the 30 footballers nominated for the Ballon d'Or this year, but Messi is not on the list. The award ceremony will be held in Paris today.
