Milan midfielder Luka Modrić has responded to rumors of a return to Real Madrid.
Idman.Biz reports that the 40-year-old specialist left Los Blancos last June and subsequently joined the Italian club on a free transfer.
It has also been reported that Real Madrid are considering Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri as their new head coach after the end of the current season.
"Allegri and me at Real Madrid? Rumors always circulate, but I'm not interested. I'm very happy here at Milan," Madrid Xtra quoted Modrić's social media account as saying.
This season, the Croatian has made 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists. Modrić's contract with the Italian club runs until the end of the season, but can be automatically extended for another year at his request.
