"Milan" striker Santiago Gimenez shared a story on social media about how midfielder Luka Modric avoided singing in the locker room after joining the Italian giant.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to tradition, every new player must sing a song in front of his teammates.
"We walked into the locker room and saw that there was a new "iPhone" in every player's place. Modric gave them to us. He bought each of us a phone. Instead of singing, he bought us all phones," Ximenez said.
The Croatian midfielder moved to "Milan" last summer. His contract with the "rossoneri" is valid until the summer of 2026. According to Transfermarkt, Modric's market value is 20 million euros.
