Major League Soccer (MLS) will change its calendar starting in 2027. Sport24.az reports with reference to "The Athletic" that the league will start in July and end in May. With this, MLS will switch to a European-style season format.
The league management plans to implement a winter break from December to February. The playoffs will be held in May.
It should be noted that currently, the MLS season starts in February and lasts until October. Playoff games are held in November and December.
