Romanian coach Mircea Lucescu will be buried today at Bellu Cemetery in Bucharest. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by Digi24.
According to the source, the funeral ceremony will be held at the Holy Eleftherios Church, and a limited number of people will attend the event.
Bellu Cemetery, located in the southern part of Bucharest, was founded in 1858. Famous people who contributed to the development of Romania are buried here.
It should be noted that Lucescu died on April 7 at the age of 81. His last job was the Romanian national team. During his career, the Romanian specialist coached Russia's Zenit, Italy's Pisa, Brescia, Reggina and Inter, Turkey's Galatasaray and Besiktas, Ukraine's Dynamo and Shakhtar. He is the third most decorated football coach with 38 trophies.
