Mircea Lucescu will continue his work with the Romanian national team. Sport24.az reports that the Romanian Football Federation has issued an official statement about this.
This decision was made after Lucescu underwent medical examinations at a Brussels clinic. Doctors confirmed that his health is sufficient to fully perform his coaching duties. After consultations with the management, Lucescu confirmed his readiness to work with the team during this important period.
It should be noted that in March, the Romanian national team will face Turkey in the play-off stage for qualifying for the World Cup. If the team wins this match, they will face the winner of the Slovakia-Kosovo match.
