"The season was very difficult for us. We had a heavy burden on us." These words were said by Vugar Hasanov, a football player of "Mingachevir", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The captain of the team competing in the First League evaluated the season:
"As you know, in the middle of the season, "Mingachevir" was in last place. Nevertheless, we worked hard and collected points and finished the season in the middle. After the arrival of Fuzuli Mammadov, the team revived. Thanks to his experience, football knowledge and strategy, our team's results improved. Our head coach restored the players' confidence and was able to change the atmosphere for the better. Next season, we will be strong enough to compete for the championship in the First League. We want to qualify for the Premier League."
It should be noted that "Mingachevir" finished the season in 4th place in the First League with 35 points.
