The condition put forward by Milan regarding Christopher Nkunku, whom Turkish club Fenerbahçe wants to add to their squad to strengthen their attacking line, is complicating the transfer process.
İdman.Biz reports, citing Sabah, that Fenerbahçe's head coach, Domenico Tedesco, contacted the player directly and convinced him to move. However, Milan's reluctance to consider a loan offer with an option to buy has become a major obstacle in the negotiations.
According to the source, Milan is demanding 35 million euros (70 million AZN) for Nkunku and insists that this amount be paid in full, not in installments. The club does not agree to any phased options.
It is noted that Milan transferred the French striker from Chelsea last summer for 37 million euros (74 million AZN). Nkunku has made 15 appearances this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists.
Against the backdrop of these conditions, it is reported that the Fenerbahçe management is reconsidering the decision on the transfer and has begun to look at alternative options.
