"Milan" has terminated the contract with forward Divok Origi. Sport24.az reports that this was announced by well-known insider Fabrizio Romano on his "X" social network account.
The 30-year-old Belgian has not appeared for the "red and blacks" since May 2023. Origi played for Nottingham Forest on loan in the 2023/24 season. After that, he mostly trained individually at the Italian club's camp. Meanwhile, the striker continued to receive a salary of approximately 4 million euros per year, which is more than the salary of Luka Modrić, who joined Milan last summer. The Croatian footballer earns 3.5 million euros per year at the Italian club.
It should be noted that the Belgian footballer joined Milan in 2022 and signed a four-year contract.
