"Milan" central striker Santiago Ximenes may undergo surgery due to an ankle injury.
Idman.Biz, citing insider Fabrizio Romano, reports that the Mexican striker is recovering from an injury sustained in late October, but conservative therapy has not yet yielded the expected results. Therefore, doctors are considering surgical intervention.
Ximenes previously stated that he is experiencing both physical and emotional fatigue due to long-standing medical problems, which prevents him from playing and contributing to the team.
The striker joined "Milan" from "Feyenoord" in the winter of 2025. Ximenes has played 37 games for the "rossoneri" in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
