"Milan" has reached a verbal agreement to extend the contract of goalkeeper Mike Maignan. Insider Fabrizio Romano reported this on his social media account, according to Sport24.az.
The new agreement between the parties will last until 2031.
It was previously reported in the press that the "Rossoneri" were ready to make the goalkeeper the highest-paid player in the club.
It should be noted that Maignan's current contract runs until June 2026. This season, the French goalkeeper has played in 24 matches for "Milan" in all tournaments and kept a clean sheet in 11 matches.
