Italian club "Milan" plans to extend the contract of 40-year-old Luka Modric.
According to Idman.Biz, citing "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the Croatian midfielder has impressed everyone at the club so much that the management is confident in the expediency of continuing the partnership.
Luka Modric joined Milan as a free agent in the summer of 2025. The midfielder signed a one-year contract with the Italian club until the summer of 2026. The contract also has an option for an additional season.
According to reports, Milan initially planned to assess the Croatian player's level and make a decision in the spring, but now the club is confident in keeping him. Since his transfer, Modric has played 12 matches for Milan, scored one goal and provided two assists.
