Two leading Italian clubs - Inter and Milan - are interested in signing Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier. Sport24.az reports that Tuttosport reported this.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper's contract with the English club is valid until the summer of 2026 and is unlikely to be extended. Therefore, Leeds United is already planning to sell the French goalkeeper at a discount in January.
Both Milan clubs are looking to strengthen their goalkeeping position. At Inter, Yann Sommer is approaching 37 and the club is not sure if the cooperation will continue. At Milan, Mike Maignan does not want to extend his contract. His contract also expires in the summer of 2026.
It should be noted that Illan Meslier has not participated in any match for Leeds United this season.
