Home games of Italian clubs "Milan" and "Inter" could be held in the USA.
According to "Report", citing "Football Italia", the president of Serie A, Ezio Maria Simonelli, made a statement about this.
The head of the organization proposed that both clubs hold their home games in the USA at a time when "San Siro" will be closed for repairs in preparation for the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics. However, the president emphasized that UEFA approval is required for this and that certain procedures must be carried out.
It should be noted that Italian clubs representing the city of Milan play their home games in Serie A at the "San Siro" stadium. "Inter" is currently in second place in the league table with 74 points. "Milan", with 60 points, is eighth.
