"Qarabagh" is more dangerous in away games.
"Report" reports that Michel Madaira, the former football player of the Azerbaijani champion, said this in his statement to "Ondavasca".
The 39-year-old Spanish former midfielder shared his thoughts before the UEFA Champions League match "Athletic" - "Qarabagh", which will be held today.
He recalled that he played in "Qarabagh" for five years:
"I had wonderful years here. I consider the club, Baku and Azerbaijan my second home. This is a great club with very hardworking people. I can never say anything bad about this place. The country has developed, especially interesting things have been done in Baku".
M.Madeyra emphasized that the "stallions" have developed as a club:
"They make good transfers. Gurban Gurbanov is one of the best head coaches I have worked with. I learned a lot from him".
The former midfielder recalled that "Qarabagh" won against "Benfica" in Portugal in the first round (3:2):
"The team's transition from defense to attack is very fast and they have talented players. One of them is Abdullah Zubir. I think "Qarabagh" is more dangerous on the road. Especially in the game against "Benfica" in Portugal, they were able to come back even though they were 0:2 down".
It should be noted that the "Athletic" - "Qarabagh" match, which will be held today at the "San Mames" stadium, will start at 20:45 Baku time.
