Manchester United football team's head coach Michael Carrick has entered the club's history. The 2:1 victory over Crystal Palace in the 28th round of the Premier League was marked by a record for the specialist.
Idman.Biz, citing Squawka, reports that Carrick is the first coach in Manchester United's history to win all of his first five home games in charge.
During this series, the Mancunians defeated Arsenal (3:2), Manchester City (2:0), Fulham (3:2), Tottenham (2:0) and, finally, Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Currently, Manchester United is in third place in the tournament table with 51 points. Carrick's team will be the guest of Newcastle on the road on March 4 in the next round.
