Argentina national team and Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has addressed Indian fans, thanking them for the hospitality they showed during his tour of the country.
Idman.Biz reports that Messi's visit to India lasted three days. The footballer participated in the opening of a statue more than 21 meters high in Kolkata.
"Namaste, India! What wonderful trips to Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata! Thank you for such a warm welcome, generous hospitality and all the love you have shown me throughout my trip. I hope that football has a bright future in India," Messi wrote on social media.
