Legendary former Barcelona player Lionel Messi recalled his first career goal and the support Ronaldinho showed him in those moments.
Idman.Biz reports that the Argentinian forward said that his debut at "Camp Nou" was unforgettable for him. He noted that Ronaldinho, who gave the assist for his first goal, seemed to have planned everything in advance.
"Debuting at the Camp Nou and scoring my first goal was incredible. It is possible that Ronaldinho deliberately made that pass for me to score a goal and did everything he could to stand out at that moment," said Messi.
It should be noted that Messi's first goal in official matches for Barcelona's main team occurred in May 2005 against Albacete. The assist for that goal was given by Brazilian magician Ronaldinho.
