Inter Miami leader Lionel Messi has spoken about his rivalry with Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the Argentine footballer emphasized that he has great respect for his eternal rival.
"I have great respect and admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, for his career that he has created and continues to do. He is still competing at the highest level.
The competition with him was on the field... We each wanted to do everything possible for our team.
Off the field, we are two normal people. We are not friends because we don't spend time together, but we have always had great respect for each other," Messi noted.
