ESPN journalist Esteban Edul reports that Lionel Messi may change teams. Sport24.az reports that the journalist stated the following in his statement:
"Messi and his family told me on Friday that he is considering the possibility of moving to another team for six months before the 2026 World Cup. At one point, the contract situation was such that he had to stay, but now negotiations have been suspended. The first clubs that come to mind are 'Newell's Old Boys' and 'Barcelona'."
