Inter Miami leader Lionel Messi has been suspended for one game for missing the "MLS All-Star Game."

Messi's teammate Jordi Alba has also received the same punishment.
Messi and Alba were selected to the MLS team roster as a result of voting by fans and the media.
The "All-Star Game" was held on July 23 in Austin. The MLS team faced the Mexican championship team. The US league national team won with a score of 3:1.
According to MLS rules, players who refuse to participate in the "All-Star Game" (with the exception of medical indications - ed.) receive a one-game suspension.
It is reported that Messi and Alba missed the match due to fatigue.
Due to the disqualification, the players will not be able to play in the MLS regular season match against Cincinnati on Sunday.
