Rovshan Najaf, President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), who is in Washington, the capital of the USA, to participate in the draw ceremony of the 2026 World Cup, met with Mohsen Gilani, President of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), during his visit.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the press service of the organization that during the meeting, AFFA and PFF signed a Memorandum of Understanding envisaging the expansion of cooperation in the field of football.
The purpose of signing the document is to strengthen partnership between the national associations of the two countries, develop football and further strengthen international relations.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the organization of training camps, holding friendly matches between national teams of different age groups, supporting women's football, futsal, beach and disabled football, as well as the exchange and education of referees.
This agreement will not only serve to develop football in both countries and create new opportunities for young football players, coaches and referees, but will also give impetus to the further strengthening of friendship and mutual trust between AFFA and PFF.
