According to the source, the French footballer approached the fourth official twice in the tunnel of the Mestalla stadium during the break and before the start of the second half, demanding an explanation regarding the offside decision. He stated that he did not understand the decision and asked how the episode was considered offside. Because the fourth official refused to speak in front of the cameras, Mbappe could not get an answer and, annoyed by this, turned to his teammate Eduardo Camavinga and called the referees "clones."
