Mbappe to miss Iceland match due to injury

Real Madrid forward and France national team captain Kylian Mbappe will miss the upcoming match against Iceland in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers due to injury.

Report reports that the AFP agency reported this, citing the team's coaching staff.

According to reports, Mbappe will miss the match on October 13 due to a right ankle injury. He sustained the injury in the home game against Azerbaijan on October 10. The footballer also suffered the same injury on October 4 in the eighth round of the Spanish championship against Villarreal.
