French national football team and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe shared interesting thoughts about his former teammate Lionel Messi while being a guest on "The Bridge" show.
Idman.Biz reports that the striker did not hide his admiration for Messi's mastery in training.
Mbappe shared a memory from their days together at PSG, explaining why Messi is different from other stars:
"Messi... it's already unbelievable. He does everything right. Let me tell you an incident. We were finishing training in Paris. Neymar and I were at the top of world football. Leo came and we started working on shots. Ney and I scored six or seven out of 10 shots. Messi, on the other hand, took nine shots and scored the same goal nine times."
Mbappe stated that he was amazed by the accuracy shown by the Argentinian star despite being tired:
"It was the end of training, he looked a little tired. It was like he wasn't shooting at the goal, he was just passing the ball into the net. I looked at the goalkeeper and said, 'Didn't you understand what he's doing? This is already too much.'"
