Kilian Mbappe became the first player in La Liga history to convert 13 penalties in just 26 games, scoring a penalty in a 2-0 victory over Levante.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, Cristiano Ronaldo held the previous record - 12 penalties in the same number of games. Thus, Mbappe surpassed a record that has stood for over a decade.

Statistics alone do not explain the reasons - playing style, number of touches in the penalty area, and frequency of fouls - all of these can be interpreted differently. But the fact remains: in his second season in La Liga, Mbappe has already broken one of these particular records.
