Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has set a new record. Sport24.az reports that the footballer's goal against Espanyol (2:0) was his 36th in La Liga.
With this, the 26-year-old Frenchman surpassed former Barcelona striker Thierry Henry, who scored 35 times in the Spanish championship.
It should be noted that Mbappe reached this figure in just 39 games. Henry scored 35 goals in 80 matches.
Kilian Mbappe joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 and has scored 51 goals so far. Henry scored 49 goals for Barcelona between 2007 and 2010.
