Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe is not planning to undergo knee surgery due to his desire to play in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

According to the publication, the French forward has been experiencing problems with his knee ligaments since December 2025. Mbappe previously missed the second leg of the Champions League play-off stage against Benfica (2:1). However, the forward does not want to undergo surgery, as this could jeopardize his participation in the World Cup. He is opting for conservative treatment.
Mbappe has been playing for Real Madrid since the summer of 2024. He previously played for PSG and Monaco. This season, the forward has played 33 games for his club, scoring 38 goals and providing six assists.
