Galatasaray's striker, Mauro Icardi, has once again become the center of attention with an extraordinary story from past years.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, Espanyol's former defender, Sergi Gomez, shared an unforgettable memory he had with Icardi at Barcelona's La Masia club.
Sergi Gomez recounted a surprising incident that occurred when he shared a house with Icardi on a YouTube program he attended:
"One day, Mauro said, Sergi, let's go to the park. He had a slingshot he had made. When we got to the park, he pointed upwards. At first, I thought it was a bulge, but it turned out to be a pigeon. He put a stone in it and threw it upwards from a few meters away."
Gomez continued:
"We returned to La Masia. He plucked the bird's feathers, put wire inside, lit a small fire, cooked the pigeon, salted it, and ate it. At that moment, I said to myself, 'If we start like this, who knows what else I'll see?' But I love Mauro very much, we have beautiful memories together, and this is just one of them."
