Galatasaray's star football player Mauro Icardi is now on the agenda with enforcement proceedings in Turkey after difficulties in his personal life. It has been reported that the Argentinian striker has been sued by his former landlord.
İdman.Biz reports, citing "Milliyet", that Icardi left the villa in Göktürk, where he lived with Wanda Nara, with a monthly rent of $40,000 (68,000 AZN), before the contract period expired. According to the claim, the football player did not pay the remaining rent because he vacated the house early. The landlord has started legal proceedings demanding a year's rent.
Currently, three separate enforcement documents have been opened against Icardi. Another claim is about the football player's misuse of the villa. The landlord stated that a serious expense was required to restore the property and filed a claim for compensation. Currently, a mediation process is ongoing between the parties; if no agreement is reached, the matter will be considered by the court.
It should be noted that Icardi also has a court dispute with his ex-wife Wanda Nara in Argentina.
