Mauricio Pochettino is a candidate for the head coach position at Real Madrid

Argentine Mauricio Pochettino is among the candidates to replace Alvaro Arbeloa as head coach of Real Madrid.

According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, it is noted that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez highly appreciates the 54-year-old Pochettino.

Pochettino is currently the head coach of the US national team and will participate in the 2026 World Cup with them.

Real Madrid (63 points) is currently in second place in the Spanish league, four points behind leaders Barcelona.
