Former "Atalanta" and "Milan" defender Mattia Caldara has ended his career. Sport24.az reports that the 31-year-old footballer wrote a message to fans, stressing that the decision was difficult, but he had no choice due to constant injuries and worsening health problems.
Caldara made his Serie A debut with Atalanta in the 2013/14 season. He moved to Milan in 2018 and returned to Atalanta on loan in 2020.
His last team was Modena in the 2024/2025 season. Caldara also played 2 matches for the Italian national team.
