Matias Almeyda will take over as head coach of "Sevilla". According to Sport24.az, insider Fabrizio Romano reported this on his social media account.
The 51-year-old Argentinian will sign a 3-year contract with the club.
Joaquín Caparrós has been coaching "Sevilla" since April. Under his leadership, the team scored 41 points in the 2024/25 season and finished the championship in 17th place.
It should be noted that Almeyda was the head coach of AEK from 2022-2025.
