Interview with "Qarabağ" goalkeeper Mateusz Kochalski for Futbolinfo.az
- When you came to "Qarabağ", did you think you would play in the Champions League?
- Playing in the biggest club competition on the continent is everyone's dream. It's a wonderful feeling. Of course, I feel very happy. We started the season with a historic result. This makes us very happy.
- Which big teams would you like to play against?
- To be honest, I haven't thought about it. I don't have any specific thoughts about playing against any particular team, and it doesn't matter who will be in the same group with us. Of course, playing in big stadiums against big teams is a different feeling. But I must say that playing against "Real" and "Barcelona" are my dreams.
- You are the third goalkeeper in the Polish national team. Do you expect any progress after this result?
- It wouldn't be right to say anything about that. Because we have high-level goalkeepers in our national team who play in strong European championships. Of course, I always try to do my best. I think I should always perform at a high level. The decision will be made by the new head coach of the national team. We'll see what happens together.
- What can you say about the save you made in the last minutes?
- Are you talking about the save I made after the header? (Laughs) Yes, it was like the saving moment of the match... It was my instinct. I'm very happy that I managed to do it. We were able to go to the Champions League and that's a great happiness for me.
