Mastantuono could go on loan from Real Madrid to participate in the 2026 World Cup

Real Madrid midfielder Franco Mastantuono is considering a six-month loan for the second half of the 2025/2026 season.

According to İdman.Biz, citing El Nacional, this decision aims to secure a place in the Argentina national team at the 2026 World Cup.

Mastantuono has been playing for Real Madrid since August 2025, and the Spanish club paid 45 million euros to Argentina's River Plate for the young player. He has currently played in 14 matches in all competitions for the Madrid club, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

According to Transfermarkt, Mastantuono's value is 50 million euros.
