A mass brawl broke out between players of "Nice" and "Marseille" in the middle of the first half of the match held in the 13th round of the French Championship.
Idman.Biz reports that the confrontation started after the visitors scored their second goal in the 33rd minute.
Initially, Marseille defender Emerson was hit by an object thrown from the stands. Shortly after, a conflict arose between the players. As a result, referee Jeremi Pinar showed a yellow card to guest goalkeeper Jeronimo Rulli, who started the game on the substitutes' bench, and Nice defender Ali Abdi, who was on the substitutes' bench.
The game ended with a score of 5:1 in favor of Marseille.
