Sumgayit footballer Masaki Murata made a statement to journalists after the 15th round match of the Misli Premier League, in which they drew (2:2) away against Neftchi. According to Sport24.az, the Japanese player spoke about the incident at the end of the meeting:
"I wasn't on the field at that time. I was sitting on the bench of substitute players. I didn't know exactly what happened. As far as I saw, our player was pushed. That's how things got mixed up."
He also shared his thoughts on the current situation of the representative of the "city of youth":
"We are in good condition now. Our position in the tournament table is not bad either. We can score points in matches. We have a strong team. I am also happy in the team. I have no plans to leave."
Murata also spoke about his compatriot Ohori, who plays for Kapaz:
"He lives in Ganja, he stays far away. When we come to Baku during rest, we meet and drink coffee. We also talk about football, we chat."
